the haps!

what is up with my obsession with graffiti boys???

Maybe it is the moody, artist appeal? Maybe it is the appeal of having your name on the wall for everyone to see. Maybe its their urban style- skinny jeans, funky hair, tats and old skool Nike's in all different colors. Maybe its the bad boy/ artist appeal all rolled into one. I really don't know what it is but i am hooked... I guess one turbulent relationship is not enough.. Masochistic?? The definition of masochism is the condition in which sexual gratification depends on suffering, physical pain, and humiliation.. EKKKKK! I hope not-- not really into being humiliated or suffering... Although, in my short relationship with C-- all those feelings surfaced, yet there was an intense sexual draw... But yes-- graffiti boys are my new fav... Is there a sweet, loving, educated graffiti boy out there for me? Stay tuned for more news....

Good BYE fat, HELLO skinny!

Monday marked a new another new leaf!! Val, Nikki, my Mom and I all decided to get back on Weight Watchers and get skinny! I have been doing my regular pre diet diet-- this consists of only fruits and veggies for 3 days. I picked 3 days because that is how long i can actually stand ONLY fruits and veggies. I cheated a little bit today-- popped some popcorn on the stove... BUT used a tiny amount of olive oil-- it was like 20 calories per cup.

One of my all time favorite diet foods is baked cauliflower. In fact, I crave it. Here is the recipe:

Baked Cauliflower

  • Pre Heat the oven to 400 degrees.

  • Cut up a head of cauliflower in to little pieces.

  • Spray the cookie sheet with Pam and spray a little on the cauliflower.

  • Sprinkle the cauliflower with seasoning (i use lots of Cayenne pepper and seasoning salt)

  • Bake for 15 minutes, then flip, bake for 15 more minutes and if needed, 15 more minutes.

SOOO yummy!!! I like to eat it with chopsticks just because it is fun. :)

Scottish D

sooo i have learned some interesting things about you in the past few days...

  • you are fun when you are drunk..
  • you are "cocksure" when you are drunk..
  • I "do it for you" when you are drunk...
  • you whisper like Gollum from Lord of the Rings when you are drunk, but oddly i like it...
  • you like when i go commando or when girls go commando--- not sure which one...
  • you talk about me... to your grandma...
  • you were not surprised when i jokingly said you confessed your undying love to me in a drunken stupor...
  • you drink shandys which i always thought was a girl drink... HA!
  • you were worried about what you said to me the night before...
  • you were "chuffed" that i was still talking to you... (although i have no idea why you would think i wouldn't talk to you anymore)
  • I can now tell when you are drunk and when you are sober by the sound of your voice...
  • You were contained in our conversations.. can't wait to see you UN contained...;)

I think you have a little long distance crush on me...

I love having crushes, for I have one on you, Scottish D.

Working Girl

So my job-- I am a sales rep for a national motor freight carrier. It is the best job in the world. I LOVE my boss. He is the best ever. I have an amazing team of drivers here in San Antonio, that literally make my job easier than it already is. I earn a great salary. I have an expense account that i am MORE than encouraged to use, a company car (complete with gas and insurance) and cell phone that i can also use for personal use (I frequently drive to Houston to see V in that car).

Most of the time my job is easy. I see 10 customers a day and usually talk to about 5 on the phone. I work off a 20 day planner. I have to pat my self on the back because i got back a customer we lost a month ago, this past week. That felt good... That was hard work but at the same time fun. I enjoy solving peoples problems. I like helping them out, teaching them how do do things. I give people the power of knowledge. Usually it works smoothly. We do what we are supposed to and my job is great...

But sometimes things go wrong. And when i say wrong i mean FUCKING WRONG! We never can just slightly ding a pallet of merchandise. We have to completely FUCK it up. We have to stick a fork in it 10 times, throw it off the dock, split it into 2 pallets, re wrap it, re class it- so the final bill is 4 times the quoted amount and deliver it 10 days late because instead of going from Dallas to San Antonio- it was routed from Dallas to NYC, then lost in Chicago before being found on the dock and shipped to San Antonio.

Most of the time, i love my customers. I have my favorites- YES i play favorites. V obviously used to be my favorite because he was so cute. And when he left i said "You can't leave me because you are my hottest customer!" Russ- V's best friend has replaced him and he is hands down my favorite customer. Why favorite?? He is calm, gracious, respectful, loyal, never yells, always polite and he gives me lots of freight. He is an example of a dream customer, a customer every sales rep wants to have.

I do have the crazy customers. THAT makes the job fun and mmmmm- how can i put this--COLORFUL! I have this one customer Diane. In her desk she has a manual on how to give a blow job! She calls her boyfriend her "Freak". I swear i have no idea what his name is because she has never said it. She has a sex swing and i think one of my drivers has "seen" it... if ya know what i mean by "seen"... YECH

I have another customer Mike, who is lovely and my age. We actually graduated from high school together but didn't know each other. On our 1st lunch over Thai food, he told me about his weekend. He went hunting but had to come home early to fuck his wife because she was ovulating but because he was hunting far away he came home a little late, they got in a fight and didn't get to fuck. They have been trying for a baby... TM fuckin I. If i ever have to imagine him having sex again, i will seriously throw up that delicious food i just ate.

THEN i have the customer i hate to deal with. I have some i dislike dealing with because the creep me out but those i can handle... BUT what i can't deal with is when they treat me like i don't know what i am doing. When they treat me like i am a stupid young girl in a mans world. I have one customer- R. Every time i see him he is demeaning and acts as though i don't have any knowledge of the industry. Each time i meet with him, he says "Maybe this is a little over your head", "Maybe you should get your superiors involved" "Wait- do you even know what i am talking about because i don't know your back round.." THIS is my job, asshole. I do this every fuckin day.

I had to deal with him this past week. He basically wanted something my company currently is not licensed to do or prepared to do. FURTHERMORE, i think he is misinformed about a product he is looking to buy- but what do i know- I'm just a wittle gwirl. Either way, I spoke with my "superiors" and the head of the pricing department. BOTH said NO to his project. I told R's henchman the bad news. We are not licensed to do this at this time. No more than 5 minutes later one of his henchman called me and said "R would like to talk to the head of pricing directly." So i gave him the number and called the head of the pricing to give him a heads up, that this blowhard R would be calling him. I wonder if he is going to call R back?

Does he think that by bypassing me he is going to get his way?? The head of pricing is going to say the same thing i did. I know that if i was a man, he would not treat me like this. If i was older, he would think twice about asking me if i knew what he was talking about. AND he would trust that i conveyed his message to the best of my abilities to the correct people in my company and would give him a quick and honest answer. BUT because i am young and a woman in this male dominated industry, in his mind, i can not possibly do this.

Its really a shame that there are still people out there like that. What happened to equality? We are the next generation. We work hard and deserve respect. I understand that respect is earned but there is no need to outwardly disrespect me just because i am younger and a female-- ESPECIALLY when you want my help.

As my mom always said, " You kill more flies with honey than vinegar." I guess R's mother never taught him that.

PS-- R is ugly...
